NC maps
[edit]hey thanks for adding sources for the election data on your NC precinct maps but there is also just one more problem the maps don't align at all with the county maps and congressional maps on the wiki pages and when i tried to align them in a shape file editor i could never get them aligned after resizing as the western nose portion of the state would just keep popping out from the county map i was trying to align it with so it's the shapes themselves that need to be redone if possible please do you think you can redo them but with the shape files like Orca uploaded for NC governor, lt governor, and attorney general? It would be much appreciated. Putitonamap98 (talk) 11:28, 17 January 2026 (UTC)

- Thanks for the info about what happened when you tried resizing, I noticed that they didn't align perfectly but wasn't sure what was causing it. Looks like this might be a mismatch between the coordinate systems between my shapefiles and the ones that most other maps are using? I'll keep you posted. — chrs (talk) 20:25, 17 January 2026 (UTC)
